Birthday!!

Today was my birthday and it was so much fun!!!
Here's the order of what we did today.
-Woke up at 7am got in the car, had my Gramma, Grampa, and cousin follow behind us
-Arrived 2 hours later, I kept counting down watching the GPS, "56 more minutes!!!!", "32 more minutes!!", "FOUR MORE MINUTESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
-I got there and opened up my presents first, I got Kanani the American Girl doll I've been waiting for!!! I also got matching PJ's for me and her and matching bathing suits! I wore the bathing suit that was adorable! I got 35 dollars from my gramparents on my dad's side!
-I followed my cousin and Ella, my sister to the "Ship Wreck" where there is a ship and you climb up it and on the sides you can go all the way up and jump off. Nathan my cousin went, then Ella went. It was my turn I was climbing up and I slipped and slammed my chin on the hard concrete wall thing of the ship. It was bleeding and my whole bottom mouth was numb. But I'm fine but it still hurts a little.
-We then went to lots of other rides. Such as the Dragon's Den, a ride where there's a two people tube, I went with my cousin down a big slide then go in circles in this big bowl-like thing with water spraying at you and this dragon statue squirting out water from it's mouth. We went to the wave pool with HUGE waves and rode with them and dove up under and dove over them too. That was addicting! Also here's another one of my favorites, the Darkology Tunnel! You go in a 2 person tube, I went with my gramma, and it's pitch black and you go in it for like 1-2 and a half minutes ad it's so fun! Then when you're coming out water sprays down!
-Then by closing time after going on most all of the rides, we went to eat at Captain Steve's and ate yummy chocolate cake and I got 20 dollars from my uncle, 12 dollars from my great grandma, 5 dollars from my great great aunt, and a beautiful quilt with roses on it made by my grandma on my mom's side! Here come's the surprise... I GOT TWO BABY PIGS FOR REAL, REAL LIVE PIGS!!!!!! They're from my grandma and Dave, they have a mini farm with goats, chickens and pigs and I've wanted a pig for 2 years and I finally got one! They're black, one boy and one girl named Rosie and Arthur! They will be kept at their house though but I get to visit them any time I want to! They're adorable and so sweet!

Thanks for reading!!

HUGE Field trip!

This past week I went on a HUGE field trip! When we were on the way we went to Luray Caverns. It was so neat because there were stalactites and stalagmites! it was really pretty! We first went to Philadelphia for 3 days. We saw the actual Liberty Bell! Did you know the crack in the bell is a faux? Tourists were complaining that the actual crack was too small so the workers made it bigger! WEIRD! We went to the actual room where they signed the constitution! It was really cool!! There was a China Town there too! We had an excellent hotel, it was truly awesome!! Then, we went to Washington, D.C. for 7 days (a week). We went to the Smithsonian, saw the Lincoln Memorial, National Monument, Jefferson Memorial, and we went in the Capitol Building!!! Did you know only 40 pillars holds up the 9 trillion pound dome on the Capitol Building? SCARY! It was an amazing trip and I really enjoyed it!

Dayover with Bestie!

Today, after church I went home with Madeline! First, I will tell you about church. We helped in the nursery today and played with little kids! Then, after church I went with them in the car and we went to eat lunch at a place called The Liberty. Madeline and I ate French toast with strawberries for brunch. Then we went to pick up Emma, Madeline’s sister’s car! After, we went home and we played on our scooters. We then came up with the idea to make an obstacle course race! It was so funny because we used our chalk and the first one (we each had individual lanes) was to go over a swimming pool noodle with our scooters without dragging it, after it we had to throw a lacrosse ball out of the lacrosse stick and go get the ball and put it back on, go around a hoo-la-hoop, and stop to draw around a chalk stencil and the animal (mine was a monkey, madeline’s was an elephant) had to be recognizable so we couldn’t rush through it and then we had t go back and complete them again to get back to the start. It was fun and funny. Madeline taught me how to go on a pogo stick and once you learn it’s so much fun!! Then we went inside and made a spoof of Toddler’s & Tiaras. I was the snotty, rich mom and Madeline was the bratty toddler haha! We put bright, colorful eyeshadow way too high up so it would look funny. Then, we went and played a pictionary game online! We had lots of fun!

FUNDRAISING!!!

I am starting a fundraiser for my best friend, Madeline’s family’s adoption of an Ethiopian child. At church I am hosting a big sleepover for all the middle school girls at church and there will be games there and food and each person pays 10 dollars to be at the sleepover. It’s going to be awesome. For just 30 girls (And I know there will be more than 30 girls there) I would raise 300 dollars for the adoption!!! So so so excited! I babysat today and that was fun! Also if you would like me to babysit or you know someone who needs babysitting let me know by emailing me at abbyccga@yahoo.com! Right now I have been babysitting my 2 year old brother and a 3 year old little boy and a 1 year old little boy. Obviously a lot of little boys! Haha! Right now I am video chatting- fun stuff haha. Well bye bye now and also if you would like to donate funds to the adoption email me at the same email address. Thanks!! Bye!!!

Field Trip!!

This past Friday I went to Asheville, North Carolina for a field trip! We know some good friends over there that live in Asheville so for the first day we went and ate dinner with them (After I was through with being car sick- BLECH!) and swam in the pool until 1 in the morning. Our friends have kids ages 13 (Tanner), 5 (Cade), 3 (Harper and Haze- twins hehe)! They left at midnight but we all were supposed to be out of the hotel pool by 10:30 but we are rule breakers XD! After Ella, my mom, and I took a shower it was 1:30 in the morning and we went to eat at the Waffle House because we were hungry hahahaha!
Next Day- We woke up in the morning, got dressed and settled for a 1 hour car drive to a maple syrup farm! We have been recently studying pioneer life such as how the Little House on the Prairie people lived. In the winter, when it was cold enough, people go out to their Sugar Maple trees and tap a metal or plastic (or wood if you are talking about the pioneering time) 5 inch hollowed stick in a Sugar Maple's tree trunk and place a bucket up underneath to gather sap and make maple syrup, maple candy, and maple sugar out of the sap. We went up there and we took a tour. There were over 106 acres of land!! We didn't cover it all but we went up a hill and the tour guide showed us a big, ENORMOUS maple tree which was their main source of maple- but they also had 699 other maple trees to get sap out of! He then took us down to see two donkeys, one which was named Sally and she had a baby donkey named Jack. We got to pet their soft noses! Then what was truly amazing was he took us down to a BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG jar (about 650 gallons) of sap! The sap looks EXACTLY like water!! We got to taste it and it tasted just like water too but the after taste wasn't so great. We then went to the boiling spot! They add NO additional ingredients to make maple syrup- just get sap straight from a tree and boil it. The cool thing about it is that sap has only 1% of sugar in it but when you concentrate it, it turns into 69% of sugar!!

Busy Wednesdays, Yummy snacks, and acting class!

Notice in the title that snacks and class kind of rhyme haha! Anyway I am always busy on Wednesdays- School, then straight after I have to go to piano lessons, then acting class then super fast today I am going to the church nursery to help out! I went to the library today and I went to look for a book on Malaria because I am writing a book that is set in Africa and there is a disease called Malaria carried by mosquitoes over there. I could not find one book about it!! They were ALL checked out!!!! Does anyone know why? Are you people who are not homeschooled doing projects on Malaria or something? Anyways, I have to put some clothes in the laundry and then I am on my way to acting class! I think I will enjoy it! First I have to tell you about yummy snacks before I go! LOL! Today I ate the most SCRUMPTIOUS caramel apple! Now, I know they can be un healthy for you- but I ate it only for Valentine's Day, I am eating it very slowly. Not only does it have caramel on it but it is COVERED with mini chocolate chips- GOSH IT'S SO GOOD! Also, after piano lessons my teacher gave me some Samoa's (they are from Girl Scouts) With yummy chocolate on it! Well that's all for today... wait! One more thing...
